While time progressed and technology evolved Felix Riggs and Casino Blackjack focused more on history and the past. They started out as space pirates and highwaymen, but after looking back to days thousands of years in the past, the "Motorcycle Club" lifestyle began to appeal to them. After much research on how "Motorcycle Clubs" operated, they decided to incoporate those ideals into what they called a "Ship Club". Instead of just pirating and stealing for a living they decided to go for the route of Solidarity and Brotherhood; for the sake of being "free-spirits" and "rebels". Anybody is welcomed to try to join, but the Harsh Bastards SC only accepts the select few that really have what it takes to ride with the "big boys".
