CWN ANNWN CLAN
A Tribal Unification Clan
Ancient Legend has told us of the Hounds of the Otherword, a pack of snow-white, red-eared spectral hounds, usually seen or heard in mid-winter, when they would become active and take part in raids or 'The Wild Hunt'.
When hunting many reports claim that arrival of these beasts would be foretold by an eary howling, like a mid winter wind. This growling is said to be loudest when at a distance, but as they draw nearer, it would grow softer and softer until nothing could be heard of them, their prescence only given away by the death screams of their prey.
The hunting grounds of the Cwn Annwn are even said to include Amarr Prime itself, where they are commonly known as 'Yell Hounds' due to their howling.
Amarrians have been reported as saying that "the howling of these huge dogs foretold death to anyone who heard them" So their coming is generally seen as a death portent.
To various tribes of the Matari they are more kindly refered to as 'Cwn Mamau' or 'Hounds of the Mother.'
One does not choose to be a Cwn Annwn, they are chosen.
