The 45th was formed from the fires of war, the 45th was born to surplus the need for experianced Caldari pilots.
It serves as both a Training ground for new pilots and as a home base for front line mercs.
It is belived to be funded by a shadow corporation to use as a trump card in future wars or as a deniable assest when politics get in the way of doing what needs to be done.
