Althampar Enterprises is a friendly and industrious corporation open to new players and veterans alike. Althampar Enterprises seeks to expand into empire regions of space before settling frontier systems and exploiting rich resources. MORE ABOUT THE CORPORATION Roles for Members of the Corporation. * Trialist - This role is for those who are not sure as to their commitment and wish to know more before continuing. * Miners - These individuals will be given information on corporation mining activities and can choose to take part in mining operations with other miners. * Security - security pilots will be given missions normally to escort and protect miners and merchants. They will be given an equal share of profits gained on such missions. As the corporation claims territory the need for fighters will increase. * Couriers - Those with large cargoholds in there vessels will be given contracts ferrying corporation assets. * Junior Merchant - those individuals with trade skills will be assigned to a Senior Merchant to learn and to take on trade within a given region under the instruction of the Senior Merchant. Graduates will be promoted and assigned a region with new juniors to control the market for the corporation. Corporation Senior Member Roles * Senior Merchant - one senior merchant per galactic region to influence trade in favor of the corporation. * Security Captain - These dedicated security personnel will work directly with other senior members to ensure the safety of corporation personnel and the organisation of defence. * System Manager - To supervise and regulate corporation activities within an assigned system. Undertakes the processing of ore and organises research and manufacturing. * Researchers/Developers - To work in corporation starbases. * Directors / Executives - The corporation leaders who finance the corporation and lead its members. Each Executive is in charge of a division or department. Such executives are the Chief Executive Officer, Director of Security, Director of Astrogeology etc. Shareholder Finance Shareholders are those who are not necessarily executives who have decided to put a certain sum of money into the corporation for part ownership of the corporation. If the corporation wishes to finance a new venture then shares can be put up for sale to raise money for this venture. This gives those who buy these shares a part ownership of the corporation. There are two main ways for a shareholder to make money: Dividends: After a fixed period of time the executives and directors of the corporation decide what percentage of the corporation profit should be allocated to paying the shareholders. From this sum each shareholder recieves a percentage equal to his or her percentage of shares. For example - if the corporation made 10m in one period and the executives decided that 5m of this sum was for payment of dividends and your shares were worth 10% of the corporation then you'd recieve 10% of the 5m which is 500k. Selling Shares: In the last example 5m was given to shareholders as dividends and 5m was retained. This is known as growth and as the corporation grows so does the value of individual shares. So if the corporation was worth 100m and the retained profit brought this to 105m then all shares owned would be worth an extra 5%. So if you bought 100 shares at 100k isk each then after this growth each share would then be worth 105k each. These can then be sold for a profit.
