About
"Once, at the beginning of time,, there was a race known as the Atlai. These were cruel and tyrannical creatures, only interested in bringing destruction and chaos to the universe. They ruled with an omnipotent fist, crushing any rebellion from the fledgling races, our ancestors. This lasted for many, many decades.
Then the son of one of the Atlai looked down upon the fledgling races, and took pity on them. He gathered together others of his brothers and sisters to create an army for rebelling against the Atlai. The Council of the Lords, as it came to be called, met in secret to plan for the upcoming coup.
Lord Zeaus , being a warrior of great skill, and knowing the strength of his enemy, went to one of the Atlai who supported their cause. His name was Raiden, keeper of the Thunder Forge. Zeaus came to him and begged him to create weapons for the Council with the strength to overthrow the Atlai. Raiden agreed, and toiled for many weeks over masterful weapons, unmatched in the civilized worlds.
The battle came, and with every strike of Raiden's weapons, the sky tore asunder with thunder, and struck with the quickness of lighting, overthrowing the Atlai and setting the world to its path of peace."
I heard this story as a young boy growing up in the mountians of Intaki Prime. I have long sought the legendary Thunder Forge. This corporation is formed in the image of that legendary forge, in attempt to create the recources needed, and perhaps even craft ourselves, these masterful weapons.
