About
f you haven't heard of us, we are a close knit community focused on all aspects of online gaming. Prox12 formed in 2002 with members playing Command & Conquer Renegade; though many of us have been gaming over the internet since gaming software allowed multiplayer options. Since then, we have evolved from Planetside, Star Wars Galaxies, World of Warcraft, Dungeons & Dragons Online, EVE Online, Pirates of the Burning Sea, AION, Face of Mankind, ARMA2, Star Trek Online, Minecraft, and soon-to-come Star Wars the Old Republic.
We have a wide variety of gamers ranging from hard core to casual; however our focus is always on emphasizing team oriented gameplay. We endeavor to build an increasing network of gamers, that have an online place to relax and enjoy some their leisure time. Prox12 represents gamers who comprise the future of gaming perfection, and desire to put their skills to work in a cooperative environment.
We use TeamSpeak 3 as our primary voice-over-IP (VOIP) program. It is not necessary to have a microphone to join us on TeamSpeak, though it is highly recommended; being able to hear and communicate with other players about what is going on makes all the difference.
