League of Assasians [LOASS]

Codenamed the "Red Romeo's" they were an elite black ops unit for the Gallente Mega Federation during the Gallente-Caldari war. Formed to take out high ranking Caldari Officals and members of military. They were efficent, effective, and flawless. None knew they existed and those who did were of the upmost security. In the years following the war a young reporter by the name of Helix Destra discovered a hidden datafile buried in the military databanks. After reading about a multitude of their mission and the way they put their lives on the line so that the Federation could be defended, he felt compelled to write a piece aplauding there work with the hope that the public would give them there much deserved gratitude. When the piece was published it was a newsreels everywhere and was much applauded by the Gallente public. However the state denied any association with them so that the fragile peace with the Caldari would remain. In an attemt to hide all evidence partaining to this group they exiled the members to the dark expanses of space. After the exodus, and without support from the Federation, many members were picked off by covert operatives in the Caldari military. In the following months their ranks had almost deminished and enemy agents thought they were closing in on the last stronghold of the "Red Romeo's". What happened next is still muttered with horror throughout the known univserse. The Covert elements of the Caldari Navy & enemies of the Gallenete Federation had create a shadow fleet that was assembling in Ongund, they knew the last of the "Red Romeo's" had assempled on a secret base somewhere in Rorsins. (At this time there had been a hypergate linking the two systems.) In 3 steller days they were going to wipe these exiled assassians out of the galaxy. The "Red Romeo's" knew the attach was coming, agents had given there lives to gather the necissary intel. They were outmatched 10 to 1, with their escape through Thelan being blockaded. They had no choice but to fight. Minutes before being attached by the shadow fleet they had assembled their 4 ships to make an epic last stand at the gate to Ongund. Suddenly an alien ship de-clocked alongside the warp gate. They fired at the ship but the shots seemed to simply pass through the alien vessel and their ship slowly driffed in space unable to engage engines. After an eternity of moments the alien ship send them a broadcast... "I have followed your bravery, hidden unholders of freedom. After committing yourself to a noble cause you have been expelled with a knife in your back. I honor you by giving this gift of freedom. I am Fanere Voespant, former man that has been transfered to the heavens. I did not die but was born again in a higher existence. Shutter in my power and use this second chance to free the galaxy from the chains of tyrants." As their ships stayed unable to move they could see the Shadow Fleet warping into the system. But the stars could be seen though the ships, as-though the ship was unable to exit the warp bubble completely. They counted 43 ships before the portals started to charge up again with the Alien vessel within its event horizon. In a moment the Shadow Fleet and Ongund portal had coverted to energy and shot directly at the Rorsins sun. The bolt of energy was consumed by the sun creating a level 7 steller explosion at the impact point, the explosion created a shockwave that enveloped the planet of Rorsins I. What atmosphere the planet once possested had been blown off leaving only scorched rocky remains. And like that the battle was over... Upon hearing th blockade fleed Thelan, fearing the untold power of this Alien Benifactor. The "Red Romeo's" left Rorsins with a fear of the unknown and a renewed meaning to existence. I the following weeks the League of Assasians was created. Its purpose is to align the galaxy against tyrants and the corruption of goverments. We fight with focus, we fight with clarity!
