About
Before a consentual duel begins pilots can bet any amount which will be held in ESCROW by "Duel Betting Escrow Services" Corporation.
How it works. Once both parties have agreed a duel, and agreed a betting value both will submit this amount to us which we will hold until the duel is over and then forward the ISK held in ESCROW by ourselves to the winners. For this service we charge 5% of the overall value of the total sum risked).
Rules for a 1v1 are that the 1st ship to be destroyed is declared the losing party and ISK will be forwarded (minus 5% overall betting value charge) to the winner! Warping away from a duel will declare the pilot who stayed on grid the winnner.
(Pods are not included in the bet; reshipping and continuing to duel is nothing to do with us; just to be clear the ship you enter the duels in will be chosen before the fight. Your ship being destroyed, warping off grid or leaving the fleet set up by the referee will result in an instant loss for that Duelist)
Any breaking of the rules we have set out before the fight will result in both parties being returned any ISK bet minus our 5% service charge!
Team battles are based upon similar rules.
Duels will take place away from stations on a safe spot in deadspace chosen by "DBET"
Duelists will also be fleeted with a "DBET" referee so no boosts can take place. Both Duelists will warp to myself the referee (or a neutral alt if war-dec'd, so ship type can be seen and then i will warp us to a safe a agreed distance for the duel will be set, once that distance met parties can start the duel). Any arguments that cause the duel to not take place will result in refunds of the betting amount minus our charge).
