About the Clan...
At the heart of this ancient society is the drive to explore the great unknowns within New Eden and to take advantage of every opportunity presented in order to further the greater good of the Clan. Exploration: As the primary duty of the Clan, operations within known and unknown space are carried out. A stealth doctrine is mandated when in hostile territory.
Mining: Two forms of mining operations, with support from an Orca foreman vessel, are carried out. Resource gathering for construction efforts and equal share for-profit operations.
Tournements: Members new or old may participate in honor tournements regularly held for various prizes and prestige.

History...
Clan Vargyr had been known as a closely knit nomadic society of ancient Sebiestor origins. Their kind once traversed the stars in large numbers during the early days of technological reclaimation. They carried with them the reputation of being renowned explorers and fearsome warriors as they helped to push the boundries of the frontier. Collecting pivotal relics and securing resources vital to rebuilding the society which had nearly vanished with the collapse of the Eve wormhole.
Over time their numbers had begun to dwindle in most part due to extensive conflicts against the inexorable Amarr Empire to the point of extinction. The Clan's descendants, reduced to living as small communities at the fringes of Minmatar space, had all but forgotten their ancestry.
That was until an independant explorer by the name of Cat Vormakul decided to make it his personal quest in life to restore the name of Clan Vargyr which once echoed proudly throughout the Minmatar Republic before it was lost forever to history.
