Hand of Maak [KMAAK]

The goal of The Hand of Maak is the return of Starkmanir Prime and the surrounding systems to the Minmatar Republic, the emancipation of ALL slaves held within the Amarr Empire and the dissolution of the so called Ammatar Mandate. How can a freed slave be an Amarr citizen when he or she will forever feel the mental chains of bondage. All former slaves and citizens of Matari lineage must be reintegrated into the Republic regardless of their religeous beliefs. The Prophet St Arzad was a mortal man who went by the name Arzad Hamri. He was sent to govern the enslaved Starkmanir and Matari on Starkmanir Prime and the surrounding systems. Gradually he began to fall in love with his people and the people in love with him. Granting them days of rest and parlay known as the Hand of Solace, Arzad Hamri enjoyed great popularity. Arzad Hamri began to be both teacher and pupil to the Starkmanir. He built a network of educational centres aimed not only at integrating the Starkmanir into Amarr society but aslo as a way of educating the Hamri family in the ways of the Starkmanir, such as woodworking and astronomy. Arzad Hamri then refashioned an Amarr symbol of divine authority with the blood obsidian native to Starkmanir and produced the Wildfire Sceptre. Slaves who attained a high degree of understanding in the Amarr religeon were presented with the sceptre. It was at this time that Arzad Hamri began, along with many of his family to integrate many aspects of Starkmanir and to a lesser degree Matrari spiritual customs and religeon into the Amarr religeous ceremonies. This new integrated pantheistic religeon was wildly popular among his subjects. Arzad Hamri was executed for heresy by the Amarr Empire after a trial overseen by his one time friend Arkon Ardishapur. It is said that Ardishapur did nor want the death of his friend but that did not save him from death at the hands of the disciple Druapar Maak. For this act and the rebellion it sparked among the loyal and faithful servants of Arzad Hamri the planet of Starkmanir Prime was laid waste by an orbital bombardment ordered by the son of the traitor Ardishapur, Idonis Ardishapur. Those who survived were scattered to the wind. The faith started by Arzad Hamri, now known among his people as St Arzad survives in a million slave colonies, houses and workshops. His light will forever be a beacon in the darkness.
