What is Insurance?
Insurance is our opt-in alternative to the traditional SRP method of replacing losses. Instead of only being covered for doctrine ships in official fleets, simply paying a small insurance premium can cover monetary loss of your ship, no matter what you're flying or where you were flying it.
What does insurance cover?
Your insurance policy covers any loss of a single ship in any location during your policy. Policies last for 24 hours. When a ship is lost, you are eligible for reimbursement to the amount of either 50x your insurance premium paid, or the total value of your lost ship including cargo according to zKillboard, whichever is lower. Implants lost are also eligible to claim when accompanied by a ship death.
What isn't covered or excluded?
Fraudulent losses, such as self-destructing or intentionally flying into a unsurvivable situation are not eligible for a claim, and any claims made may result in punitive action. Lone capsules/implants, shuttles in high-security space, and losses to NPCs (except for wandering Triglavians) are not covered. Losses that occur within 15 minutes of purchasing insurance are not eligible.
How do I take out an insurance policy?
Transfer your policy fee into this corporation. The cost of your policy, and therefore the maximum payout, is entirely up to you. You may pay any number between 1 and 40,000,000 ISK. Your policy lasts for 24 hours from 15 minutes after the point at which you made the transfer.
How do I claim on my insurance?
Visit https://auth.isk.enterprises/srp and submit an SRP request. In the ping field note insurance. Your claim should be processed within 24 hours.
