About
OPERATIONS: GeoTec Corporation is a business/industrialist-oriented corporation which operates as a loose network with offices in numerous systems. Individual branches are often led by members of Intaki ruling houses, who recruit capsuleers to assist with business operations, cultivating alliances and shared objectives. Members include everyone from miners to mercenaries. However, true to Intaki cultural traits, the coins of the realm are discretion and constraint. Gankers, pirates, and anarchists are not welcome (officially, at least) within GeoTec's ranks.
The main corporation office is headquarted at Lenoika on Intaki, and most of its operations continue to be within the Placid Region. Tenveren Gildor oversees business expansion operations in Minmatar Republic space and operates offices out of Gulfonodi and Arnon.

POLITICS: With their strong loyalist ties to the Gallente Federation, many in GeoTec's leadership openly opposed the separatist movement during the Gallente-Caldari War. That preference for stability and security -- at the cost of some independence -- continues to be a driving philosophy. However, the allure of profit has also driven an increase in dealings with the The Syndicate, especially among the up-and-coming younger generation of Corp leaders. Family and politics continue to color GeoTec's leadership heirarchy, however. Successful ascension within its ranks requires skill at diplomacy, negotiation, and subterfuge.

HISTORY: Tiny in comparison to contemporaries Aliastra and Astral Mining Inc., GeoTec is a family-run operation tied to several notable Intaki lines. As the name suggests, the corporation's origins were in mining, planetary production and terraforming. In the time since the Militia War Powers Act was declared, GeoTec has focused increasingly on the weapons trade, supplying CONCORD, the Federation Navy, Intaki Space Police and many other groups.
