Like Minded Fools [FUULS]

Like Minded Fools is a PVE focussed corp in high-sec. For the TL:DR crowd, we are looking for new and veteran pilots who enjoy blowing stuff up, being blown up (hopefully less often), licking rocks, huffing gas, getting ice for mixed drinks and making stuff to help do all of that. Most of all, we want to have FUN playing this endless, stupid game together with other Like Minded Fools. If this sounds moderately interesting to you please apply to join. And for the folks who aren't already bored to tears, the FAQ below may help you decide if you are, in fact, a Like Minded Fool. Q: Hey, I'm no fool! Why can't it be Like Minded Friends or something? A: Because spending an inordinate amount of time and, quite possibly, real money, ingnoring the real world to play something as mindless and never ending as Eve makes us all fools! You may as well do that with other Like Minded Fools. At least we will laugh with you. (quite possibly at you, too) Q: I still don't admit to being a fool, but how much does it cost to be in this thing? A: More than you would like and less than it's worth. (1% tax) Q: I'm easly confused by acronyms. When you say PVE focussed what does that actually mean? A: We are primarily hi-sec mission pew pewers but you can do whatever makes you happy in the game that does not involve piracy or killing other corp members. (unless they really, really deserve it) Q: Do you offer SRP? A: Absolutely. Every pilot in the corp is a Seriously Real Person. If you mean will we give you a new ship every time you lose your ship, no. We will, however, help you learn to stay alive longer and, hopefully, have fun while doing it. If you ask really nicely we may help you replace your ship but that is on a case by case basis. Saying please is not enough. Make us FEEL your pain and loss! Or trade us for a specific player corpse. Or a random player corpse. Your best bet is to trade us your corpse. Q: This all sounds too craptastic to be true but I notice that friendly fire is allowed. Why? A: Getting fired upon in Eve by other pilots is like shaking hands IRL used to be. Just a friendly greeting from someone you probably don't know and who was too lazy to chat with you. (For pilots less than 2 years old IRL you could shake other people's hands without possibly killing them before Covid.) But seriously, one of the best ways to learn pvp (yeah, yeah, I know we are PVE focussed, but you really can't avoid pvp in this game entirely. Even in high-sec.) is to practice with Like Minded Fools who will help you learn and not destroy your ship or pod you. (Pilots who abuse friendly fire, meaning you shook first and never asked if the other pilot was interested in having you shake their hand, will be kicked.) Basically, don't worry about it. It's allowed, but nobody in corp is going to blow you up unless you know about it and agree to try to blow them up at the same time. Q: What if I decide to join and then rage quit the game for a long time? A: You will be kicked if you are inactive for 30 days unless you email a corp officer and let them know ahead of time. This is a game. Real life is MUCH more important and always comes first. You will be welcomed back (assuming you weren't kicked for shaking someone's hand without permission) if you get kicked for inactivity. I just don't like the inflated numbers other corps have where there are a handful of active players and a legion that haven't logged in to Eve in months or years. CONGRATULATIONS!
